With an area of around 4.800 square km Bohol is the tenth largest island of the Philippines. The main island is surrounded by more than 70 smaller islands and holds a population of nearly 1,3 mio. people. There are many things to do and see in Bohol. The most famous tourist attraction are probably the Chocolate Hills and the little Tarsier monkeys. But also history fans will find their treats with the legacies of the Spanish. If you like adventure, you should not miss the zipline. Lovers of the nature might be very interested in the Mag-Aso or Kawasan water falls*. There is something interesting for everybody!
